Injectable Wrinkle Treatments

Using Botox

There are currently two different injectible solutions used to treat facial wrinkling of the forehead, glabella (between the eyes), crows feet, and lips; Botox and Dysport.

Both work in similar ways by blocking nerve impulses, which reduces the movement of those muscles. With less movement, the skin surface gradually smoothes out, and the moderate to severe lines begin to fade.

Both treatments are quick and minimally invasive and are administered by several tiny injections into the affected muscle. The entire procedure takes approximately 10-20 minutes. Discomfort is minimal and brief and you may resume normal activity immediately.

You can expect to see results within days after your treatment and up to two weeks following. Visible results can last up to four months. After that, you may be ready to return for a follow up treatment.
